Typically, I draw the head and shoulders in black and gray marker. Colored marker drawing is optional.
Drawing speed depends on number of subjects in a picture, how quickly they switch out, sit still, etc.

These drawings would be on 8.5x11" card stock, then bagged in zip-loc bags when complete.
